Think of it as a digital switch sitting between your wall plug and the heating element.&#xA;When you tap a button on your phone or a Zigbee hub, that switch flips. Because infrared doesn&amp;rsquo;t have that heavy &amp;ldquo;thermal mass&amp;rdquo; that old pipes do, you don&amp;rsquo;t get that annoying lag. You hit the switch, and you feel the heat immediately.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Setting it up to fit your life&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;The real magic is in how it talks to the rest of your house. You can link the heater to your smart hub and get creative with it.&#xA;Maybe you want it to kick in five minutes before your alarm goes off so you have a warm towel the second you step out of the shower. Or, you could hook it up to a motion sensor so it only runs when someone is actually in the bathroom.&#xA;To keep the towels from scorching, we use something called PWM. It basically just pulses the power once the towel hits the right temperature, so it stays cozy without burning out the hardware.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to watch out for&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the catch: fast heat requires a lot of juice.&#xA;Before you install these, make sure your bathroom&amp;rsquo;s wiring can handle the power surge when the IR elements kick in. If you&amp;rsquo;re putting in a few of these on one line, check your breakers. You don&amp;rsquo;t want your power cutting out the moment you try to dry a towel.&#xA;And since we&amp;rsquo;re talking about electricity and water in the same room, don&amp;rsquo;t cut corners on the grounding. It&amp;rsquo;s non-negotiable. Safety first, warmth second.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
