Technical Deep-Dive
We set these heaters up on 400V because it plays nice with industrial power. That means you can run longer cables without worrying about voltage drop or overloaded lines. Inside a 300mm tube, we pack 2500W of output. It’s a tight fit, but that’s the point—lots of power in a small footprint. The shortwave infrared profile comes on fast, so when your thermostat calls for heat, you get it immediately. And because it’s direct heat, your energy goes right where you need it: the plants. Not the empty air around them.
Material & Design
The quartz envelope is filled with halogen to keep the filament temperature steady and stretch the life of the unit. We also shaped the coating to steer the energy toward the wavelengths plants and water absorb best. Installation is straightforward, too. The R7s bi-pin connector locks in cleanly, without tools, and carries the full current safely. You wire it up, set the mounting distance, and let the geometry do the rest. Simple. Solid. Done.
