The Heat Struggle These things are short-wave infrared sources, which means they get incredibly hot. When you crank up the wattage, you’re creating a massive amount of heat density. Here’s the trick: we match the voltage precisely. Why? Because if the filament overheats during that initial ramp-up, it just evaporates. Plus, if you push the power without checking your oven’s airflow, you’re basically asking for a blowout. Built for the Real World Most standard lamps are just too fragile. They can’t handle the constant shaking and vibration of a high-speed line, and the thin quartz eventually just gives up. We went with a reinforced quartz structure. It’s tougher. It doesn’t snap as easily, and it keeps the gas where it belongs. And don’t worry about the installation. We use standard connectors, so they’re simple drop-in replacements. No rewiring, no fuss. You just slide them into the spot where the old ones were and get back to work. Ending the Downtime Cycle If your line keeps stopping because of broken lamps, you’re likely dealing with thermal shock. The constant expanding and contracting eventually kills the glass. Our heavy-duty alternatives handle those cycles way better than the basic OEM stuff. One quick heads-up: because the glass is reinforced, the heat penetration might feel a little different.
