These lamps are designed for indoor commercial use and should be hardwired by a qualified electrician, to local codes. Confirm the circuit can handle the total load when you run multiple lamps. With proper setup, these can run for thousands of hours, but like any heat source, they need ventilation and clear clearance to stay reliable and safe.
