It’s about how the tube talks to the controller. We use high-purity alloys and very specific wall thicknesses so the heat spreads evenly across the whole tube. Without this, you get “hot spots.” That’s a nightmare because your sensor might tell you everything is fine while the edge of your product is actually burning. We keep our wattage tolerance within ±5%, so what you see on the spec sheet is actually what you get in the oven. Dealing with the steam Let’s be honest: steam is brutal. It eats heating elements for breakfast. If moisture gets inside, the element burns out way too early. To stop that, we use specialized coatings and sealed end-caps to keep the internals bone-dry. We also picked a sheath material that doesn’t hold onto heat longer than it needs to.
