And the fit? It’s spot-on. We’ve matched the dimensions precisely to the Sidel footprint, with a standard 300mm tube length. Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz tube. The halogen cycle does the heavy lifting, keeping the filament stable and preventing that annoying blackening that can dim output over time. Quartz also handles the shock of rapid on-off cycles better than standard glass. These ovens cycle constantly, and the material needs to keep up. For the electrical connection, we stick with the R7s connector—the industry standard for a reason. It’s a simple snap-in. You unclip the old one, snap in the new, and you’re done.
