If you’re running high-speed Husky HyPET lines, you know that throwing more wattage at a preform isn’t the answer. It’s not about raw power. It’s about getting the heat to actually soak into the core of the plastic without scorching the outside. That’s where we come in. We build our replacement lamps to hit that sweet spot. The trick is in the penetration. Most standard lamps just bounce energy off the surface of the PET. It’s a waste. We use specific quartz and coatings to shift how the IR radiation behaves, pushing the heat deeper into the wall of the plastic. When you’re running at top speed, your preforms aren’t hanging out in the oven for long. They’re moving fast. You need that heat to be totally even before the bottle hits the mold, or you’re going to have a bad time. No tinkering required. Our lamps are designed to be simple drop-in replacements.
